What is dandruff?
One of the most frustrating and embarassing things to have when you are trying to look your best is dandruff. Most people don't know what dandruff is, they think it's a contagious disease.
When actually dandruff is dead skin cells on your scalp, skin cells that die off too fast.
What causes these skin cells to die? There are many natural causes for this scalp disorder:
1) One cause is a sensitivity or overgrowth of a fungus called Pityrosporum ovale which is present in our scalp. This fungus is found on many healthy people and not dangerous. Sometimes it grows out of control and feeds on the oil made by the hair follicles. This causes irritation and leads to skin cell shedding.
2) Excessive oily or dry scalp. Yes! To much of either can cause dandruff. Do you know the foods that we eat causes over oily glands: to much sugar, starch and fat. Clogged oil glands,cold weather and dry enviroments contributes to dry scalp.

Client Challenge
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
When we opened in April we began a client refferral challenge where current clients will recive FREE services for reffering friends,family and even strangers to us.It is our great pleasure to congratulate SHAUNULA who completed Challenge1 reffering three new clients and has begun Challenge2.Congratulation also goes to KAREN who completed Challenge3 she reffered 7 new clients , five of whom came within 1 week,her FREE service was a Full Head Weave with Style.
